The Embassy of India in Algeria celebrates the 79th Independence Day of India
On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of India, the Embassy of India in Algeria held a festive reception under the auspices of the Ambassador of India to Algeria, Dr. Swati Vijay Kulkarni. The reception was attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Algeria, a group of media professionals, businessmen, a delegation from the National Assembly headed by Dr. Rabah Baghali, Vice-President of the National Assembly and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, members of Parliament, and the Inspector General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Abdelkader Khodja. The reception began with a speech by the Ambassador in which she praised the deep historical relations between Algeria and India and ways to develop them. She also emphasized the investment opportunities and economic cooperation between the two friendly countries and the positive cooperation in various fields. The reception concluded with a dinner where the attendees tasted the famous Indian cuisine with its distinctive spices.
